Wellbeing Research Announced for Vasculitis Patients

The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation has agreed funding for a new wellbeing research study for Vasculitis patients with the University of Aberdeen.  The research will be lead by Dr Neil Basu, Senior Lecturer & Honorary Consultant Rheumatologist based at the Aberdeen Vasculitis Clinic.

There have been recent studies on factors which affect the quality of life with Vasculitis patients. You can view our Webinar 4 video which presents the earlier studies on fatigue with vasculitis for more information.  This new epidemiological study will focus on physcholgical and quality of life factors and will seek to deliver evidence based results which will lead to new health care provisions.  The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation has supported three research projects since April 2013 with a contribution of £36,000.
