Vasculitis Awareness the LCTF Way!

The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation hosted two great Vasculitis Awareness 5k events in Kilmarnock (south of Glasgow) and Aberdeen.  The events on 21st April and 12th May raised significant awareness through a 5,000 awareness leaflet mailing in each area plus radio and press awareness for each event.  The events also raised significant awareness with the general public.  The events had a great level of support with over 200 runners taking part and a combined fundraising total of over £10,000 for Vasculitis Research.  A great family atmosphere and an excellent day at both events but more importantly the sun broke though the long running wet weather at both events.

Prizes for the raffle had been donated by Homebase DIY stores.  A massive thank you from LCTF to all those companies and individuals that have helped support the awareness events in 2013 and make them so special and successful.  A massive thank you to all our runners, walkers and  supporters who attended on the day.
