The Twilight Cabin – A Vasculitis Haven!

In under one month we will be launching The Twilight Cabin in January 2014.  This vasculitis haven has been funded entirely by The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation in memory of our daughter Lauren who loved the Twilight books and films.  Lauren left an amazing legacy with her charity which has been inspired by her courage in fighting Vasculitis. Her charity will launch the cabin as part of our support services to patients affected by vasculitis – a place where they can enjoy a free break with family and take respite in this stunning location on the banks of Loch Awe.

A traditional log cabin with three bedrooms and a traditional log burning stove.  This is truly a hideaway in the highlands of Scotland complete with all your usual comforts such as Satellite TV, DVD, Wifi etc.  It offers stunning scenery, wildlife, amazing walks, bike rides, fishing or just sitting in this peaceful location for relaxation and respite.  The Twilight cabin is only available to children and adults diagnosed with a variant of Vasculitis for a respite holiday with up to 6 people.  It is also offered to anyone who has lost a close loved one to Vasculitis.

Ikea Glasgow have also kindly donated furnishings for the living and dining room plus dining sets, glassware and utensils for the kitchen.  If you want to consider staying in the cabin then please register for our Patient Support Centre and register your dates on our booking request.  The charity will send you a booking pack containing our application and the cabin terms and  conditions.
