Raising awareness of vasculitis at 19341ft

Duncan, John and Blair, The Duntrune Trekkers, successfully reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.  They climbed 19,341 feet to reach the summit on Thursday 2nd October.  After overcoming the challenges to reach the summit the boys posed for pictures to raise awareness of vasculitis at the top of the world.

Reaching the summit was the finale to a year of fundraising by the trekkers that raised over £12,000 for three charities – The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation, Rainbow Valley and MS Centre in Lochgilphead.  The trio have raised a staggering £5,310 to date for The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation to support our work supporting and researching vasculiits.

Well done from all at LCTF!
