Run Against Vasculitis & Support LCTF
The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation organise a Run/Walk Against Vasculitis with 5k events designed to raise awareness and funds for the charity. Our 5k event has been a tremendous success with over 200 people in 2012 walking and running to raise vital sponsorship for the charity.
In 2013 we are aiming to Run Against Vasculitis in Kilmarnock and Aberdeen with funds helping to support our research in Aberdeen and our national Vasculitis support services:
Laurens Memorial 5k For Vasculitis is in her hometown of Kilmarnock on Sunday 21st April 2013 from 11am. The 5k is held at the Dean Castle Country Park in Kilmarnock and is set in the scenic trails around the stunning castle. Entries are being taken for walkers and runners at the 5k event.
Vasculitis Awareness 5k is being held in Aberdeen on Sunday 12th May from midday. The 5k is being held in Duthie Park in the centre of Aberdeen and will help to support our 3 year Vasculitis Research at the University of Aberdeen.
