Guidance Leaflets – New Treatment Section Added

Within our Patient Support Centre, a private patient member area, within our website there are detailed leaflets on each variant of vasculitis.  It provides guidance on Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (Wegener’s), Microscopic Polyangiitis, Behcets Disease, Buerger’s Disease, Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (Churg-Strauss), Takayasu Arteritis, Central Nervous System Vasculitis, Giant Cell Artertitis, Cryoglobulinaemia, Henoch Schonlein Purpura, Polyarteritis Nodosa, Rheumatoid Vasculitis, Kawasaki Disease, Polymyalgia Rheumatica etc.  Our factsheets are written by qualified medical authors and peer reviewed by Vasculitis consultants experienced in the disease.  It also features guidance lectures, consultant and patient interviews and webcasts.

We have added a new section within the Support Centre for treatment leaflets.  The leaflets will provide details on each treatment for induction and maintenance, how it will treat and the side effects it may cause.  This new section is now available and opens with a leaflet on steroids.  More treatment leaflets will be added over the next few weeks.
