The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation has provided financial sponsorship to Vasculitis UK for the Patient Symposium and exhibition space at the Vasculitis 2015 event for The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation awareness stand.

The 17th International Vasculitis & ANCA Workshop (Vasculitis 2015) at the Business Design Centre in London. The meeting will take place 27 years after the first Workshop, held in Copenhagen shortly after the discovery of ANCA. Since that time, remarkable progress has been made in the understanding of vasculitis. The pathogenic role of ANCA in small vessel vasculitis has been extensively studied, and testing for ANCA has become a routine diagnostic procedure. This has catalysed the development of therapeutic trials to optimise conventional therapies and examine the role of novel approaches, such as biological agents.

The 2015 meeting will extend the scope of the programme to include content on medium and large vessel vasculitis, and on other diseases in which vasculitis is a major feature.  Workshops will be multidisciplinary and multiprofessional, and importantly will include contributions from patients. The meeting offer the opportunity to hear about the latest advances in the field of vasculitis, and to network with healthcare professionals and scientists who share similar interests.
